Scriptures
Adhyatm: Bhagavad Gita, Shiv Puran, Vishnu Puran and other scriptures, chapter by chapter
The great scriptures of Sanatan Dharma were meant to be heard as much as read: the Puranas were recited by sutas and kathavachaks to whole villages. This library keeps that spirit. Every scripture is laid out in its original divisions (adhyay, ansh, samhita, skandh) and each division is explained in plain language from beginning to end, with the most important shlokas in Sanskrit and their meaning. Every chapter has a Listen button, so elders, children and busy people can hear it in Hindi or English on their own phone.
How to read the scriptures here
Open any scripture to see all its parts in their original order. Each part opens on its own page with the full explanation in simple words, the key shlokas in Sanskrit with meaning, and a Listen button that reads the page aloud in Hindi or English. Speed can be set to slow for elders. Use Next at the end of a chapter to go on, exactly as in a katha.
The explanations follow the standard Gita Press and traditional recensions. Puranas exist in several manuscript traditions, so chapter numbers can differ slightly between editions; the order of events does not.
